Here's what the press release says about the tour.... The Speakmans tickets
Everyone Deserves To Be Happy….
Join the world's leading, inspiring, life change therapists, Nik and Eva Speakman, as they share their techniques to allow you to make positive changes in your life.
For the first time in a live theatre environment, The Speakmans will simply explain the causes of negative thinking, internal conflicts and address a series of life’s challenges live on stage. Topics covered will range from how to overcome anxiety, phobias, confidence and generally being happy. The Speakmans want to revolutionise the way you think and show you how to change your life for the better.
Your time to change starts here.
It's interesting to see that they are selling a VIP Package! I'm not sure whether special seats and a chance to have your photo taken is what most people who would be interested in seeing them would actually be looking for, but if that is what you want then you can buy the following opportunity..
VIP Package with Nik & Eva Speakman
- Early access to venue
- Gold Circle seats
- Meet and greet with Nik and Eva Speakman in a room where a pre show drink is provided and a managed Official Photo opportunity.
It's interesting to ponder how well something like this will go down with their audiences. It would appear from social media that when they appear with Phil and Holly on This Morning on ITV many people want to ask for help but do not know where to go to get that.
I was surprised that the show starts at 8.00pm. Bearing in mind that most of the people who want to see them could well be suffering from anxiety it seems a little late for people to even be starting watching something. I was also a little amazed to see that the top ticket price is £112.37. You can get tickets from £51.08 in the gold circle in Birmingham and so many people could end up spending as much as actually having a therapy session with a trained and qualified therapist which may well be a better option.
If you are looking for help with a problem of your own you can read all about the different types of therapy that you may come across and perhaps decide which sounds right for you here: http://www.markpowlett.co.uk/cbtandcounsellingvshypnotherapy.html
It is always good to make sure that whoever you choose to turn to for help when you need it is trained in the appropriate techniques and also a member of any relevant professional bodies. You are probably already aware that the Speakmans have not undertaken any formal training and are not members of any governing body, and this may affect your decision on who to work with when picking a therapist.
The campaign to promote the tour is set to continue after Christmas. Boxing day television adverts for the Speakmans live show are now airing on ITV. Those on the Speakmans mailing list have already been sent an email about booking tickets for the Speakmans show...
"Nik & Eva Speakman are set to embark on a five-night theatre tour in Spring 2016. As you have previously enquired, we would like to give you prior notice before the TV advertisements start on Boxing Day in order that you don’t miss out on this opportunity.
The Speakmans will swap the studio for the stage to share their positive change techniques, with a live audience, revolutionising the way we think and changing our lives for the better. They will explain the causes of negative thinking, internal conflicts and address a series of life’s challenges live on stage. Topics will range from how to overcome anxiety, phobias, gain confidence and generally being happy, PLUS Nik and Eva will be poised to answer any audience questions."
How to pick a Therapist to Help You Today
The most important thing is to pick the right person for you. Someone who you feel will be the right fit is the best choice you can make. A group session isn't something that everyone can benefit from. For instance, if you are suffering from social phobia and anxiety, then the thought of having to attend a group meeting with a crowd of people may be the last thing that you want to do.
