  1. More and more celebrities are turning to hypnotherapy and hypnosis to help them in their lives and more and more stories are being reported in the media about them. The latest is Jennifer Saunders who has revealed that she uses Hypnotherapy and hypnosis to help her write the Absolutely Fabulous film script and end her problems with procrastination.

It's not the first time that I have seen this issue. I have worked with clients in the past who are looking to help them with procrastination and the energy and enthusiasm that they can gain often surprises them !

The big screen version of her hit television show Absolutely Fabulous is going to happen, she told an audience at The Independent Bath Literature Festival yesterday, explaining that she is writing it now and has a deadline for the treatment.

Revealing for the first time the extent of the struggle she has faced in writing the script for the planned film, first mooted in 2011, she said: “I am actually having treatment, hypnotherapy, for procrastination. It’s true, What my hypnotist said was to get rid of the backpack of negativity.”

One great incentive for Jennifer to finish the script this year is that she’ll be out of pocket to the tune of £100,000 to her former comedy partner Dawn French if it isn’t finished.

“Dawn tricked me on the radio,” Saunders said yesterday. “She bet me £100,000 that I don’t write it this year, so I have to.”

Jennifer Saunders has also agreed to start accepting invitations to comedy panel shows, joking: “Yes, they have to have women on them now. It’s the law.” She has said she was “too scared” to do panel shows in the past. “It’s quite intimidating, but the older you get – and after you get past the menopause – you don’t care. You think they’re just little boys.” She will appear in Have I Got News for You in April.

When asked about working on Absolutely Fabulous and French and Saunders, she said: “I’ve been very lucky in my life that I’ve been able to work with people who were my friends and are my friends.”

She added: “A great thing about being in AbFab is that every air steward brings you champagne, because they think you must want to be drunk all the time.”

If you have issues and problems with procrastination then the only thing you do not need to procrastinate about is getting in touch with me. Once you have done that it gets much easier!

  2. One of the great things that I am lucky enough to have happen to me, is that I get asked to speak at various events and to different groups. As well as talking to these groups I also get to speak to students in schools and even lecture medical students all about how powerful our mind is and the amazing things that we can do.

This week has been a very busy one for booking events.

It's often a sign that Spring is on the way !

As well as becoming involved with two new charity events (which I will tell you about later once I have more details!) I am really looking forward to speaking at an event in a wonderful venue in Knowle. The Catwalk Cafe is owned by designer Gillian Wesley and is a fantastic venue. Just take a look...

I last spoke there about a year ago when I did my "No More Diets!" talk all about... well I expect you can work that out for yourself!

This time I have been invited to speak by Victoria Warwick Jones who has three networking groups in Solihull, Redditch and Bromsgrove. I have met so many of the Vibrant Network family and they really are a lovely bunch of people. Their business philosophy is that people do business with people and so they are all about helping each other and being supportive.

Here is what Vicky Warwick Jones has to say about the event....

    Achieving your wildest dreams?

I have booked a venue for the first Vibrant Gathering that I will be holding, on Friday 11th April 2014 5-7pm. It is going to be absolutely brilliant and is aimed at helping you to achieve what you really want out of life.

I have been so lucky to get a brilliant guest speaker to come along to the event, Mark Powlett of Mark Powlett Hypnotherapy. Mark has a wonderful story to tell, from his days working in kids tv as a policeman, to hosting daily radio shows for the BBC and now as a very successful hypnotherapist. Mark is a lovely guy who will make you laugh and inspire you to follow your dreams.

The venue is the decadent Catwalk Café in Knowle, which is owned by designer Gillian Wesley. You will be served afternoon tea with beautiful cakes and there is also the chance to have a sneaky glass of wine if you would like.
